Custom-Made Products
At SH General Carpentry Corp., we manufacture custom closet modules made to your exact specifications. Because each piece is custom-made for you, we have specific policies regarding returns and refunds.
Cancellation Policy
- Before Production: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided production has not begun.
- After Production Begins: Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled as materials have been cut to your specifications.
Returns – Damaged or Defective Items
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged during shipping: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will replace the damaged item at no cost.
- Manufacturing defect: Contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will repair or replace the defective item.
Returns – Change of Mind
Due to the custom nature of our products:
- Standard modules (non-customized dimensions) may be returned within 14 days if unopened and in original packaging. A 20% restocking fee applies.
- Custom-sized modules cannot be returned for change of mind.
- Items must be unused and in original condition.
Return Shipping
- For damaged or defective items: We cover return shipping costs.
- For change of mind returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refund Process
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable (except for damaged/defective items).
How to Request a Return
- Email us at info@shgeneralcarpentry.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Include photos if the item is damaged or defective.
- Wait for our team to respond with return instructions (usually within 24-48 hours).
- Ship the item as instructed.
Exchanges
For exchanges (different color or size), please initiate a return and place a new order. This ensures the fastest processing time.
