Custom-Made Products

At SH General Carpentry Corp., we manufacture custom closet modules made to your exact specifications. Because each piece is custom-made for you, we have specific policies regarding returns and refunds.

Cancellation Policy

  • Before Production: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided production has not begun.
  • After Production Begins: Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled as materials have been cut to your specifications.

Returns – Damaged or Defective Items

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during shipping: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will replace the damaged item at no cost.
  • Manufacturing defect: Contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will repair or replace the defective item.

Returns – Change of Mind

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • Standard modules (non-customized dimensions) may be returned within 14 days if unopened and in original packaging. A 20% restocking fee applies.
  • Custom-sized modules cannot be returned for change of mind.
  • Items must be unused and in original condition.

Return Shipping

  • For damaged or defective items: We cover return shipping costs.
  • For change of mind returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable (except for damaged/defective items).

How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at info@shgeneralcarpentry.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Include photos if the item is damaged or defective.
  3. Wait for our team to respond with return instructions (usually within 24-48 hours).
  4. Ship the item as instructed.

Exchanges

For exchanges (different color or size), please initiate a return and place a new order. This ensures the fastest processing time.
